Painting
Durable coatings that protect and perform in tough environments
Extend the life of your equipment and improve your site presentation
From safety compliance to corrosion prevention, professional painting plays a critical role in maintaining your lifting equipment.
At Falcon Cranes, we provide industrial-grade painting services for cranes, hoists, lifting accessories, platforms, and structural steel.
Our in-house team can handle new component coating, full fleet resprays, or targeted touch-ups as part of ongoing servicing or restoration work.
Painting delivers enhanced protection, visibility and presentation.
We’ll deliver a quality finish that holds up in the real world. Because on a working site, appearance matters—but performance matters more.
Protection and compliance, without compromise
Coatings aren’t just cosmetic — they serve a purpose. Our painting services help you:
- Protect steelwork from rust, corrosion and environmental wear
- Comply with safety and visibility standards (e.g. colour coding or warning markings)
- Extend the working life of expensive plant and components
- Restore worn or weathered equipment before redeployment
- Present a clean, professional image to clients and regulators
All painting is completed using high-grade industrial products and carried out by trained technicians who understand lifting equipment and the environments they operate in.

Frequently asked questions
What type of paint systems do you use?
We use industrial-grade primers, protective topcoats and colour systems designed for outdoor and heavy-duty use. Depending on your application, we may recommend anti-corrosive coatings, colour-matching systems, or safety-grade visibility colours.
Do you paint full cranes or just components?
Both. We regularly paint entire crane towers, hoist sections, or structural elements either as part of a restoration or before site redeployment. We also carry out targeted repainting for damaged or weathered sections.
Can painting be included in a service or inspection?
Yes. Painting is often bundled with 10-year inspections, servicing or refurbishment work. It’s an efficient way to improve condition and extend lifecycle without additional downtime.
Can you match brand colours or site requirements?
Absolutely. We can colour-match to developer branding, site guidelines, or fleet consistency, and provide advice on visibility or WHS compliance where colour standards apply (e.g. yellow handrails, red warning points).
Where is the painting carried out?
Most of our painting is done in our workshop, where we can control prep and curing conditions. However, touch-ups and minor recoating can be completed on-site depending on access, safety and weather conditions.
